In-N-Out Grand Opening Brings Woman To Tears
This is the kind of local news gold that I'd be posting on my own tumblr if I had one. Former Californian (hell, a Fontanian?) Danielle DeInnocentes sheds tears while stuffing her face at an In-N-Out Grand Opening in Frisco, Texas. We're all ridiculously passionate about food, but this shit is on another level. A quote from DeInnocentes reads as follows:
"I kept saying all night, pinch me, it doesn't feel real. It felt real in there."
FUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHH I swear I was about to start crying myself after she said that. She even saved the wrapper! Sigh...I wonder if I'll ever love something that much.
Probably not. But In-N-Out does sound pretty good after all that. In the words of hardcore fatty Gspook, who waited hours in line to be the first customer, "The burger gods have blessed us with an In-N-Out in Texas..."
Amen buddy, amen.

Why stop at your phone and computer when you can have Google in your kitchen

Google had their annual I/O conference today, where they announced more details on their plan for global domination and introduced new digital soldiers to wage war with their mortal enemy, Apple.
For me, a project to integrate Android into household appliances piqued my interest the most. I did research into how technology like this could help homes be more green in college and with Android's share of the market and how far along existing technology for this use already is, the idea seems like it could only be a few years from being affordable and effective.
Energy in the household could be managed efficiently by allowing home owners to manage temperature in their home remotely, appliances could be turned off when not in use, and garage doors would never be left open while no one was home.
While these green benefits sound great, all I could think about was remotely controlling my oven and the possibility of heating up pizza rolls without ever having to leave my computer chair.

Things I Miss From College - Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee
I haven't found anything like it in San Diego. I've tried the local favorites, but really, nothing compares, at all. It's not like I crave or necessarily need a replacement either, but every now and then I most certainly get the itch for a large Dunkin Iced Coffee, and maybe a Boston kreme or chocolate glazed donut on the side (or a pumpkin cake donut if its in season). I guess the memory and this ridiculously exaggerated photo will have to do for now.

Dusting Off The Pen And Pad
From: Nazer
So there's a period of 10 minutes between the time I order my food, and the time to go pick it up. I ordered a large cheeseburger sub, because I couldn't decide between a hamburger and a sub, and an order of curly fries. The place I ordered from (conveniently named College Pizza) is literally one short block away, hardly enough to justify the amount of calories I'm about to take in and the amount of calories lost from walking there, but I've never really been a healthy guy, with my diet of nachos and computer games.
So today I went to church, and then immediately after went to the liquor store to pick up a 12 pack of Sam Seasonal (Oktoberfest). There's humor in that somewhere, to go from praying on a pew to downing bottles of alcohol. Maybe there's some super psychological underlying meaning thing going on, but at the moment I don't see it, let me know if you do.
Shortly after I sat my ass in front of the TV to watch the Patriots get outplayed by the Jets, and then in front of my computer to watch the Chargers get outplayed by Baltimore, all while sketching music notes on paper and following @erwinism and @swftwzrdRAWfiki's twitterific commentary. Oh well, at least the Emmy's are on after these old guys talk on 60 Minutes.
Life up here has been okay. I get a ton of work done, but I wish I had one of those unlimited flight passes like the cast members on LOST so I could fly home on the weekends to hang out. It's definitely not as fun up here, but I guess that's where that "life is a balance" idea comes in.
And that's pretty much it. Well, not really, but my food is ready, so maybe more later. Thanks for reading.

Food Review: Coldstone Cupcakes
These delicious concocsions come in one of three flavors: Cake Batter Delux, red velvet cake with cake batter ice cream, Sweet Cream, yellow cake with sweet cream ice cream, and my personal favorite, Double Chocolate Devotion, devils food cake with chocolate ice cream. The first thing you'll notice when biting (or cutting) into one of these is that it's enclosed in a chocolate shell. Not exactly the easiest thing to hold by the hand and dive into, but tasty regardless. All three feature a chocolate shell, a very small layer of cake, ice cream on top of that, then topped with a buttercream frosting.
They're definitely good, but in some ways they totally miss the mark. As you can see from the photo, the amount of cake in the cupcake is actually pretty pathetic. When I think cupcake, I think a nice, fluffy cake, topped with frosting, but these are pretty much all ice cream. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I mean, they are an ice cream store, but I believe that if the cake to ice cream ratio was improved we'd have a real hit. Another thing is they aren't very friendly to the hands. This isn't something that you can just walk up to and bite, unless you're planning on getting your face and clothes sticky, you'll need proper tools: maybe a small plate, a knife, a fork, etc.
Regardless, if you're looking for a nice ice cream treat, maybe something different from the typical trip to Yogurt World or Rite Aid, then these can really hit the spot. With a price tag of $9.99, they're not the most affordable option, but if there's something special going on or if you just feel like spending for whatever reason, there are crappier things you can spend your money on. So if you're in the mood for something sweet, check these out, because they're only here till March 31st!

Super Bowl a victory for Steelers, fatasses
I saw a spot for this promo while watching the Super Bowl 43, although I was a bit skeptical at first (Just like Santonio Holmes’ game-winning “catch”... I kid Steelers fans! har har).
Fortunately, the ad was indeed legitimate, so if you happen to cruise by a Denny’s today, remember to stop by and treat yourself to a Grand Slam breakfast for only Free 99.
Unfortunately, I probably won’t be able to enjoy my own Grand Slam, seeing that the deal is only being offered during a ridiculous time slot of 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Don’t they know people will be asleep? I mean c'mon, the sun will still be out.
Speaking of the Super Bowl, I give a half-ass congrats to the winners, the Pittsburg Steelers. What could of been a disastrous meltdown to the Arizona Cardinals turned into an exciting 4th quarter, capped off by the aforementioned touchdown “catch” cleverly pulled off by Holmes.
This photo is taken straight from NFL.com and just so happens to be the only photograph they have that captures the game’s most crucial moment. And what do you know, his legs are cut off! Oh darn, that would of made an awesome picture. Either way, I’m sure the officials got the call right and Holmes did indeed get both of his feet in...
Obvious jealously aside, I am though, happy for their head coach, Omar Epps clone Mike Tomlin, who is one of the handful of Steelers that I’m actually a fan of.
Besides being a talented actor and a badass football coach, Omar Epps/Mike Tomlin might actually be related to the man himself, Charger Ladainian Tomlinson, seeing how their last names are so closely related to each other.
(Tomlin + son = Tomlinson/Son of Tomlin!)
And of course, anyone related to LT, even in the slightest bit, is more than likely a stud themselves.

Chargers make fans, fatasses happy with win
Leave it to the Chargers to keep our spirits high and our stomachs filled. In celebration of the Bolts toppling the Colts on Sunday, Rubio's is serving free fish tacos with the accompanied coupon.
I love Rubio's fish tacos. I could eat them all day. Wahoo's and all the other poser-ass fish taco joints don't got shit on Rubios. I think I've maxed out at 6 tacos in one sitting.
A year or two ago, Rubio's started offering the choice between the O.G. corn tortillas and a new, disgusting flour tortilla for their fish tacos. Even though I'm a dieing breed, I still prefer the corn tortillas while it seems like everyone else hopped on the evil flour bandwagon. Yuckk.
Remeber your roots. CORN>FLOUR!!

CHEERS and JEERS Thanksgiving edition

- JEERS to turkey. Unless it's smothered in gravy, most of time this dry ass bird tastes like you're eating a towel.
- CHEERS to prime rib, rib roasts, duck, and any other alternative protein on Thanksgiving. Much props to the Thanksgiving chef/mom/auntie/uncle who goes above and beyond the traditional fare. Here's my Thanksgiving dinner from two years ago:
Fucking beautiful.
- JEERS to sweet potatoes w/ marshmallows and green beans with crispy onions. These are lame side dishes that smell of laziness. Usually crispy onions come from some can and well, marshmallows are marshmallows. Sorry if you have a special affinity to these items, but I am not a fan.

- CHEERS to mashed potatoes. Double the cheers if those potatoes have garlic in them. Whoever thought up the idea of adding butter and milk to such a simple starch is a genius who will also happen to have a hand in my eventual demise.
- CHEERS to Thanksgiving day football. Is there a better activity to do after eating a large meal than sitting on your ass watching football?
- JEERS to the lame ass matchups year after year. I don't know why the Cowboys and Lions are the traditional Thanksgiving teams that play, but tradition can change. Just like marriage right?!

A Fan Tribute
Just recently however, I’ve come across some encouraging words that I feel has finally put this bad habit of mine to an end. I’ve also come to realize that 1) I've been leaving my fellow cool kids, Nazer, Ray and Lance hanging, 2) We’ve collectively passed the 200th-post mark, with no reason to stop, and 3) I feel obligated to balance the flow of Rock Band/Fake Instrument related posts with my incredibly dumb ideas.
The real inspiration though, that drives me to start writing again, actually comes in the form of a simple email.
If you’ve noticed on the sidebar, as part of our lame attempt to make this site appear authentic, coolkidsroom surprisingly maintains an email account (coolkidsroom.blog@gmail.com) in case anyone wants to give us some feedback. As I was going through the usually spam and junk mail, I was amazed to find an email that was personally addressed to us.
Anyways, I’d thought I share it with everyone.

Dear CommanderCacho, Nazer, Just Ray, and Adonis, aka the Coolest Kids in the Room!!!!!11
Hi, my name’s Adam and I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I know you guys don’t know me, but I have to say, me and my buddies love your site! I’ve only found Cool Kids Room maybe a month ago, but ever since then I’ve read every single post in the archives up till now!! Probably the most hilarious, clever, yet insightful blog I’ve ever read.
You guys are probably wondering how I came across coolkidsroom. It actually happened by accident, and in a really odd way. Well, I guess me and my buddies were bored one day so we decided to have fun with Google and just search for the most randomest things we could think of and see the results.
In one of our searches, we typed in the words, FATASS, MUSIC, VIDEO GAMES, NERD, BONER, SADAM HUSSEIN, and then we threw in BUKKAKE just for fun.
But then, after hitting ‘search’, we were all confused when your guys’ site came up. Still, after looking through it for a bit, we were hooked! A lucky string of words or not, I’m glad we found this blog. Keep up the good work!!
Your #1 Fan,
Adam Banks
P.S. – I’m just curious, but is that guy “Lance” whos mentioned a lot.. is that actually CommanderCacho?? Either way, I sure wish you guys posted more pictures of him :D
Thanks Adam, this post is dedicated to you and your buddies up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It's people like you who inspire me to write, and in turn, start posting again. Even if you did come across us by accident, it makes me proud to know that we're able to make a positive impact to kids half-way across the country. And of course, here’s a pic of that mysterious “Lance” guy, just for you.

Enjoy!

Because Boston Has No Mexican Food
Cappy's Buffalo Chicken Sub

This shop was literally steps away from my dorm. The sandwich contains buffalo chicken strips, tomatoes, lettuce, and bleu cheese on a huge sandwich roll. Whenever I eat it I feel like the fattest person ever, but damn there is nothing bad about this thing.
Pizza and Wings

You can get slices and wings pretty much anywhere you go in Boston, but each spot has it's own qualities. Some places have cracker thin crusts, some p;laces have giant slices, some have hotter wings than others, some serve their wings with multiple dipping sauces, and so on. While San Diego natives know exactly where to go for their favorite burrito, everyone in Boston has their personal favorite pizza place.
Chacarero Chilean Sandwiches

A true hidden gem in Boston. This downtown Boston eatery holds the only sandwich to rival that of the Irvine favorite Le Dip. Choose from grilled chicken or steak (or both) and then combine that with green beans, tomatoes, cheese, a guacamole spread, and probably the best hot sauce I've had outside of San Diego. Place that on their freshly baked bread and allow the power of food to make all other worries of the world go away, at least until it's time to order another one. This will probably be the first place I go when I go back up there, and believe me if I could express mail a few of these to the west coast I certainly would, but they wouldn't retain their freshness. This huge sandwich is priced at 8 bucks, and if you get full you can always save half for dinner.
I'm confident that many of these options would satisfy a coolkids hunger. There are many more places that I didn't list, from the best place for Falafel to the best Indian buffet, but maybe another time. Maybe a San Diego best happy hour list down the line too...till next time.

TEAM CACHO DEFEATS TEAM DONDON IN 5K OF EPIC PROPORTIONS
Last month’s epic battle between Team DonDon and the evil Team Cacho resulted in a heartbreaking loss for the boys in orange and neon-green, with Lance and his cronies managing to avoid the upset as they narrowly defeated Team DonDon by 1 second.
Battered by injuries, distractions, and locker room malcontent, Team DonDon apparently could not hold things together during the much-anticipated 5k event, despite Olympic-esque efforts by all-star runners Judd “White Power” Judd and Lu “Flying High” Lu, both of whom finished with record times.
“They had no chance whatsoever,” Cacho muttered, as he bit down into his victory Ultimate Cheeseburger after the race. “There are winners and losers in life… and Team DonDon is a loser!”
The extended 1.5 mile stretch of the race proved disastrous for both teams however, as the course itself was littered with numerous fast-food establishments that kept both teams on their toes and their stomachs grumbling. 7-11, Jack-in-the-Box, McDonalds, Burger King, and In-n-Out became a common sight and a legitimate threat for runners attempting to maintain a steady pace.
“It was driving me crazy,” said Omar of Team DonDon. “Everywhere I’d run there’d be fast-food workers cheering me on, holding out water and telling me to take a break. I just couldn’t take it anymore.”
The $2 Ultimate Cheeseburger deal, combined with the unbearable heat, lack of preparation, and a poor outing by their Team Captain eventually led to Team DonDon’s downfall. Still, Judd remained optimistic, praising the team’s tremendous effort in the midst of such overwhelming odds.
“We thudave beatth thum.” he said.
Team Captain DonDon was apparently unavailable for comment following his team’s defeat. Teammates described him looking “heartbroken,” and “emo,” not even saying a word when times were announced. He was last seen headed to La Jolla Cliffs with a guitar in hand, blasting Daphne Loves Derby from his car as he drove off into the distance. His current whereabouts are unknown at the time.

Top Chef ya know?
So I have to give an obligatory racial shout out to my favorite contestant this season, Dale. I can't post a picture of him here without feeling a little homosexual, so instead I'll put a picture of why I'm bothering to post about him.

Dale is a Filipino from Chicago and for last night's Quickfire challenge, he whipped up a unique take on Halo Halo that landed him in the top 3 and eventually won the elimination challenge with some Grilled Tofu with curry. He's looking like a strong contender to win the whole thing, so I'll be sure to bug you guys about him until he wins or he gets eliminated.

Hey, Why So Quiet?
I've hit that final stretch in the school year. Final project season is in full swing and I feel like I'm ahead of the game which is always good. I plan on knocking out a bunch of my projects this week so I don't become a panicking college student, struggling to paste together shit on the last minute. I can count my days left in Boston on my fingers and toes, and damn I can't wait to get back home. Less than 20 days till I can get my fat self to Cotijas and order up a hash brown burrito and 2 fish tacos, and after eating nothing but sandwiches and pizza nothing sounds better than good, SD style mexican food.
My free time goes to watching shows (30 Rock was so funny) and playing video games, but lately a lot of creative effort has been going into audio production, not just playing piano but doing the whole underground producer thing and making beats and sampling things left and right. After taking a bit of time to look back on the year I realize that I've learned so much not only in music history and theory, but in my goals as an artist as well. As soon as I tell myself that I know exactly what I want to do, more and more doors start to open, more ideas start to flow, more sounds start to come up in my head, and it's all extremely exciting. Next year I'm moving into an apartment with 2 of my friends up here, and we share similar musical styles and we're all into creating and developing ideas, so I'm pretty excited to see what kind of madness develops down the line.
So yeah, that's what I've been up to, hopefully I'll be able to balance my time better in the next few weeks, and I've had a couple features floating around that I might get to soon. Later days everyone.

Taking It Easy
From: Nazer
12:33 on a Saturday afternoon. The sun is shining outside and it looks ridiculously nice, but I know when I step out it's going to be windy as hell. On my desk are leftover Heineken bottles and Mcdonalds napkins, crumpled receipts and magazine advertisements, and more, lets just call it unorganized chaos.
School has been cool, well let me say this again, school is always cool, just some weeks are better than others. I don't think I'm alone in this, but eventually you hit a point in your studies where you feel like you're comfortable with the material, then you read a few more pages of a book and your world suddenly expands and you realize how much you actually don't know; a vicious, repetitive cycle. With only 3 more weeks left and finals I'm just going to stick it out and hope for the best results.
I watched the Padres lose to the Giants, watched "Psycho" (1960) for my History of Film Music class, watched The Office and 30 Rock, and played Portal and Mass Effect on 360. The last page of Entertainment Weekly was entitled Videogame Lunacy by Stephen King, and he talked about the generalizations given to video games as a sort of "evil" in the world. He makes note to say that he isn't a gamer, but he understands when people in this industry lash out because of the comments that are directly associated with them. He talked about a Massachusetts law that's currently in review stating that kids won't be able to purchase Mature rated games until they're 18, but states that the same child can go watch Hostel II at age 17. He also commented on the fact that it is so easy for a reporter to say that video games cause things like school shootings, but what ignorant adult let their kids get their hands on guns in the first place. This is a topic I find interesting because I consider myself a gamer, and I'm not in favor of the stereotypes placed behind them.
So what's planned for the day? Maybe some practicing, getting some school work done, maybe playing some video games or watching a movie, and then another night of hanging out, typical saturday, but we'll see. Take it easy folks.

Top 3 Coffee Pairings
As I sit here with a slice of mud pie ice cream cake and a black cup of Folger's finest French Roast before my 4pm lab section, I've come up with the Top 3 Coffee Pairings.
3. Sausage McMuffin
McDonalds breakfast pwns. The only other fast food breakfast item that I ever crave is the Cotijas Hash Brown burrito, but even then, I enjoy the burrito better for lunch or dinner. But for breakfast, it has to be McDonalds. I will even take McDonalds breakfast over Dennys or IHOP at times. You better make it to the golden arches before 10:30 am or you're assed out, so McDonalds breakfast is a rare treat for me.

The Sausage McMuffin is one of the original Mickey D's breakfast items and an old standby that I come back to. It's a simple yet harmonious sandwich which I recreate at home all the time. A fattier version of the ham-based Egg McMuffin, the subtly spicy patty goes better with a hot cup of coffee.
2. Good ass Dessert or Pastry

While I enjoy my coffee loaded with sugar and cream as much as the next person, a black cup of coffee is an underappreciated treasure, and serves as a perfect compliment to a sweet dessert or pastry. The bold yet rich bitterness of a good cup of black coffee simply enhances a good coffee cake or donut.
1. Cigarette

The official Cool Kids Breakfast of Champions is a grit and a cup of coffee. I quit smoking a while ago, but I still long for one more drag, hopefully accompanied by a sip of coffee. The hot java and the smoky grit go hand in hand in starting a great day. The combination gives you a reason to wake up in the morning, as well as a reason to go to the bathroom.
I swear the cigarette enhances the laxative properties ten fold. Fuck I have to take a shit just thinking about this.

Monday Morning Buffet: Brett Favre & Pedophiles
Roy Lichtenstein, “Whaam!”
■ The other day at school I was in a good mood, so as I strolled down library walk I bought Korean BBQ from a student organization, signed a few random petitions that I had no idea what the hell they were advocating for, and by the end of my run of good-will, I was rewarded with a group of smiling 12-year-olds…
(Enter pedophile joke)
…Which of course, would make R-Kelly, David Westerfield, and my friend Marky Mark wet their pants.
Lucky for me, they were Girl Scouts, selling no other than their magically delicious Girl Scout Cookies. I promptly bought two boxes worth. My tier list of the different flavors from o.k. to great goes something like this: Thin Mints, the peanut-buttery tasting ones, the lemony tasting ones, Shortbreads…
But the King of Girl Scout Cookies remains uncontested – All Hail, the almighty SAMOAS!

These are fucking delicious. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but I could eat these all day. A flawless combination of chocolate, caramel, and coconut flakes, all working together while ending with a satisfying toasted crunch.
From my experience, I advise you; this is the kind of snack where sharing is not an option. It’s probably best to eat your box of Samoas alone in a dark corner away from civilization, or store them in the pantry behind the gross cereal brands that no one grabs. I’ve lost many dear Samoas to evil friends and family members after they discovered I was in possession of some. And for your own sake, if you happen to have a box on you and I’m around, hide it at all costs.
■ While this story is old news, I feel I should take the time to pay tribute to an NFL great, who has just recently declared his retirement after 15 seasons of playing the game. If you haven’t heard, Green Bay’s deity, Packer’s quarterback Brett Favre, has finally decided to hang up the cleats after years of speculation of this day to come.
Brett Favre, you will surely be missed. This means no more calling you Bart, no more old-man jokes, no more sports writers sucking your dick, no more watching you blindly throwing up the ball, and no more crying after every press conference when you contemplated retirement. However, your sole Super Bowl win, and Interception record, will forever stand testament in the annals of NFL history, making you truly, a football legend.
Cool Kids Room presents…
Brett Favre through the years; A Photo Tribute to #4
(I kid, I kid. We all love you Grandpa Favre; you are definitely a Hall-of-Famer in my book.)
■ Even though Super Smash Bros. Melee will always hold a place in my heart, I still think Brawl is fucking awesome. I think I’m in love with it already. So in love with it, in fact, that I missed a whole day’s worth of school, including my last and most important lectures of the quarter, just so I could play it nonstop. Finals you ask? HAH! Sometimes you just have to set your priorities straight. Brawl > Studying. I just really wish I got a Nintendo Wii back in the day when I probably had the chance. (and extra cash)
■ Last night’s showing of America’s Best Dance Crew was highlighted with a sickass intro to a remix of It’s a Hard Knock Life, making it my favorite episode yet. I hope they choreograph another collaboration, and maybe, just maybe, they’ll bring back some of the eliminated groups to help participate. Maybe they can bring back, oh I don’t know, Fysh n Chicks perhaps? That'd be cool...
■ I’ll probably get shit for this, or maybe it’s just when me and Lance play, but from my memory and especially after last weekend, I sadly have to admit: we cool kids in the room are the WORST group of Beer Pong players ever to play the game. We couldn’t win a beer pong match even if our lives depended on it. If we played a game together all four of us would have full grown beards by the time we finished. Even the cups would grow beards. Ok that didn’t make sense, but yeah. We are terrible.
Best,
Adonis

Monday Morning Buffet
“99 Cent II Diptychon," Andreas Gursky■ You can always rely on coolkidsroom to provide you with up-to-date info concerning fatty affairs, so in recent news:
Taco Bell is now selling their Supreme Gorditas for only 99 cents. I love Taco Bell as much as real Mexican food, although after years of eating double-deckers and Mexican pizzas, I’ve come to realize that everything on the Taco Bell menu tastes exactly the same. Sure, it might come in burrito form, or they might throw a curveball at you and shape it like an octagon, but at the end of the meal the only thing that was truly different was the appearance. Not to take away from the deal or anything, because I still fucking love it.
My inside sources also tell me that Golden Spoon is giving away free frozen yogurt on Saturday, March 1st. I don’t know why, maybe it’s their anniversary or national yogurt appreciation day, but who gives a shit. Free-99!
■ To my amazement, the girls from FYSH N CHICKS survived another lackluster week on America’s Best Dance Crew, which means at least one more week of watching KOI FISH in action. Yes, that statement was probably borderline stalker-status, but I’m just glad to know that my 50+ texts last week made a difference in the voting.
■ The REAL love of my life though, Tina Fey, hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend as part of the first episode of SNL since the end of the Writers Strike. Given that the majority of the entertainment industry has virtually been on hiatus for the past 3 months, it's good to know that Hollywood is back in business and everyone’s favorite shows (and Tina Fey, i.e. 30 Rock,) are back in production. Unless for some reason you were a loyal fan of “BIONIC WOMAN,” which got the axe recently, you’ll have to wait for something else to appeal to your peculiar tastes.
■ I came across a list of short news one-liners in the UCSD paper, The Guardian, this morning, and in particular, I found one quite amusing. It simply read:
Thursday, Feb. 21
10:03 a.m.: Medical aid
--A 19-year-old male needed medical attention after taking “several shots.”
Go Tritons!
■ With the advent of the American version of Super Smash Bros. BRAWL soon approaching, my goal for this week is to somehow get my hands on a Nintendo Wii, no matter what the cost! Since Brawl is a completely new game with a number of differences from its predecessors, I swear I’ve been having nightmares of getting owned by everyone and never, ever, winning a Smash Bros. match for the rest of my life. Without a Wii of my own, I’m doomed.
■ After several months of speculation, the political scene and the bid for the Presidency has finally narrowed down to three, solid candidates. With all the pretenders weeded out of the race, it’s safe to say that the only serious contenders left are Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John McCain. Regardless of who wins, it will be a historic moment for either blacks, women, or the undead.
Best,
Adonis

Are You Serious?
Wtf? Crazy! Chocolate Skittles, I'll let you know how they taste when I eventually eat them.
From Tina Fey to political news coverage, and now chocolate skittles. Guess you really do get a bit of everything here.
EDIT: 4:53 PM: The five flavors are S'mores, chocolate pudding, chocolate caramel, vanilla, and brownie batter. When you first open the bag you get hit with the smell of tootsie rolls and Jello pudding. For the most part their tastes hold true to their name. Vanilla tastes like vanilla, the brownie one tastes like stale brownies, the chocolate pudding tastes like chocolate pudding. I guess the caramel and s'mores flavor taste like they're supposed to, but if someome had just handed me a few and asked me what they taste like I'd never say the amazing blend of chocolate and warm marshmallows sandwiched between two graham crackers. So what's the verdict? I'd eat them if they were free (but damn what wouldn't I eat for free), but they're not good enough for me to keep buying them.

It’s You Got Served, IN REAL LIFE!
Luckily, former fat fuck Randy Jackson, of American Idol fame, is premiering his new show on MTV later tonight, called, America’s Best Dance Crew!, which seems much more convincing.
I actually never watch MTV for the most part, BUT, A.C. Slater is master of ceremonies AND, San Diego is being represented by the group JabbaWockeeZ, and UCI by Kaba Modern. While I’ve seen Kaba Modern perform a few times, I’ve honestly never heard of jabbawockeez until watching them in the audition episode, which pissed off my friend Jordan quite a bit. Shit, I couldn’t even pronounce their name at first. JabbaJabba? Jabba the Hut?
While I don't know jack-shit about choreography, I thought they looked good.
Confession: In spite of the the San Diego and Orange County connections, I’m actually rooting for another west coast team… FYSH N CHICKS. Yes, it’s fucking sad. Don’t’ get me wrong though, it’d be nice to see either Jabba and Kaba advance in the series, but I have my non-gay reasons for rooting for an all-feminist team who refuse to wear revealing apparel and instead wear baggy clothing to cover up… go figure.
Namely, I have a crush on one the dancers… KOI FISH!
Yeah don’t hate. I’m rooting for her tonight as well. Just watch when she is introducted (00:36 mark), and you’ll be in like too, guaran-fuckin-teed.
Behold!
“SHE’S YAPANESE!” Falls in love, the end.
